Slutsk

A most successful program for our synagogue. We have been sending money, medicine and clothes for several years. The residents of Slutsk are very grateful. They now need about $100.00 per month. A letter was sent to our membership and $1100.00 was collected. The balance came out of the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund.



Council on Jewish Elderly.

Our congregation pays for and annually serves about 50 seniors at Temple Emanuel. The $700.00 charge is paid from the Discretionary Fund. Rabbi Schechter is the entertainment for the program. He speaks many languages to the participants.
